Volunteers are people who take voluntary action with the aim of making society better for everyone to live in. "Volunteer" can also be used as an adjective to describe such an activity. The Volunteer Center helps connect those who want to volunteer with those who need volunteers. The center also provides information in response to many different inquiries relating to volunteers, coordinates the sending of volunteers, organizes volunteer-related training and skill improvement courses, visits schools and corporate offices for welfare lectures and lends teaching materials regarding welfare.
